ACADEMICS

Students come to attend Purcell Collegiate School from countries all over the world. We offer many excellent academic programs from Grade 7 to Grade 12 as well as elective classes which students can gain further enrichment from during their educational journey. Learning occurs both inside and outside of the classroom through many opportunities including off-campus and community programs.  At Purcell Collegiate we provide students with the opportunity to learn more about Canadian culture, infused with First Nations and Indigenous learning. Exploration of career planning, healthy lifestyles as well as arts and athletics are also an important part of their learning plans at PCS.

Students are guided through their academic planning and progress by meeting with academic advisors on a regular basis to ensure they stay focused and on track with their educational goals. Our dedicated teaching faculty provide students with innovative teaching methods to create passionate life-long learners.

Additional language support and tutoring is also available to assist students in moving forward on a successful journey and to prepare them for success beyond high school, particularly into their university career.
