Winter Camp
Purcell Collegiate is excited to offer an immersive Winter Camp Program from January 30 to February 13, 2027, providing students with an unforgettable 15-day mountain experience in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Participants will arrive in Cranbrook, British Columbia, and spend two weeks developing new skills, building confidence, and enjoying a variety of winter sports and outdoor adventures.
The program begins with student arrivals on Saturday, followed by orientation and activities on Sunday. Alpine skiing instruction starts on Monday and runs over six days, with sessions scheduled on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday throughout the camp. In addition to alpine skiing, students will have the opportunity to explore a range of winter activities, including Nordic skiing, curling, snowshoeing, fat biking, and skating. These experiences are designed to introduce participants to different aspects of winter recreation while encouraging teamwork, personal growth, and outdoor exploration.
This short-term individual program is designed for students who wish to experience Canadian winter sports and outdoor education in a supportive and engaging environment. Through a combination of instruction, adventure, and cultural experiences, Purcell Collegiate’s Winter Camp offers participants a unique opportunity to create lasting memories while enjoying some of the best winter activities British Columbia and Alberta have to offer.
