Each international student at Purcell Collegiate School is required to have an assigned Custodian who ensures the student receives care and support when needed, including in times of emergency. As required by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Custodian needs to be an adult and Canadian citizen. All Purcell Collegiate School students are assigned a Custodian that is associated with our school for this purpose. The Custodian is part of the application and registration process as a notarized Custodianship Declaration must accompany the minor’s study permit application. For more information about Custodianship rules in Canada for minors, please see this link.
