The Female Super League (FSL) is coming to Kimberley. Founded by Silent Ice Sports and Entertainment to “realize the opportunities a female-focused league can generate for girls seeking to excel as players and as students,” the FSL is headed by Commissioner Hayley Runnalls who will be at the Civic Centre throughout the weekend as Purcell Hockey Academy (PHA) plays host to its first showcase in the league’s 16U division.
PHA’s General Manager, Al Wozney, would like to encourage local hockey fans to attend a game. “Our 16U team is off to a great start. They are 4-0 in FSL action to date and they’re coming off a successful trip to Vermont for the Fall Foliage Classic where they won the 17U division.”
