PURCELL POINTS
Purcell Points is a Uprep@pcs initiative that encourages and enables students to maximize their stay in Canada by broadening the scope of their social, cultural, and educational engagement. The program awards points for volunteering, participating in school and community activities/events, and achieving good Work Habit grades at school.
- Volunteer service: 50 hrs.
- Community activities/events: 50 hrs.
- Work Habits grades: 15 G/E grades
Top point-earners receive monthly prizes and at the end of the year, students who complete the cumulative points goal will qualify for a celebratory trip to Edmonton, home of Canada largest shopping centre and indoor waterpark..
In addition to the Edmonton trip, students who earn the required number of Purcell Points wiill receive a badge for their college admission portfolio.
